Susan Gong is the founder and CEO of Altec Global Capital. Susan is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst with decades of experience in advising medium and large companies on financial and regulatory issues. She is fluent in English and Mandarin and is a director of the Taiwanese Entrepreneurs Society of Toronto.Susan is a former member of the Immigration and Refugee Board, the government agency that adjudicates applications for legal residency in Canada. She is a Full Member of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council. She works extensively with the boards of several charitable organizations including the United Way of Greater Toronto, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, and the SickKids Foundation. Susan has been honoured with several awards, including the Chinese Woman Pioneer Award.

Denis Richardson has more than 30 years experience in pension investment, and investment banking in the minerals, energy, tourism and manufacturing industries. He has worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers Sherritt, Canadian Pacific, the World Bank and the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. He has broad international experience in merger and acquisition advisory services, debt markets and project management and is an expert in using derivatives to hedge risks and enhance returns. Denis brings a thorough understanding of global macro economics to project analysis and the development of solutions.

Brian Olds has over 30 years of diverse experience in government, crown corporations, major manufacturing enterprises, pension fund management and entrepreneurial start-ups. He has worked for large organizations such as the Ford Motor company, Ontario Hydro, and the Federal Government, as well as start-up ventures. Brian’s experience includes direct responsibility and management of large, complex, detailed projects, using a wide range of professional methods to achieve results and success for client satisfaction. As a result of this broad experience. Brian has developed a high level of technical expertise, but more importantly, an ability to work within complex processes to achieve above average results.Brian has a finely-tuned capacity to identify risk and a unique ability to assess value, combined with a task-oriented client-focused approach.

Brian Richardson brings a wealth of international finance experience to Altec Global Capital and it’s clients. He has been helping clients manage their finances for over 20 years, including completing equity issues in excess of $120 million. He is a finance professional with extensive experience in public and private company management and in financings, strategy, negotiations, operations, and mergers & acquisitions. He is a proven problem solver who achieves success through thoughtful leadership and by productive collaborations with team members and partners. His experience includes 14 years as CFO for high growth listed and SEC reporting companies.

John Elder has very broad corporate, commercial and securities experience. Over 40 years, John has handled a great number of mergers and acquisitions, financings and securities-related transactions, many with international facets ranging from the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe, to the Pacific Rim. In addition, John focusses on corporate governance and corporate secretarial functions for public and private entities.
