AGCI Executive Team

Susan Gong

Managing Partner, Founder

CPA,CA

Susan Gong is the founder and managing partner of Altec Global Capital Inc. She holds an Honours B.B.A. from Wilfred Laurier University and a CPA,CA designation which qualified her for her previous role at the Metro Toronto Housing Authority. She is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) and a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant.

Susan is a former member of the Immigration and Refugee Board, the government agency that adjudicates applications for legal residency in Canada. She has been honoured with several awards, including the Chinese Woman Pioneer Award. Susan is fluent in English and Mandarin. She is a director of Scarborough York Region Chinese Business Association and member of the SickKids Foundation’s Chinese Cabinet.

James Metcalfe

Special Advisor

Mr. Metcalfe has worked for 24 years in the departments of Citizenship and Immigration Canada and of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. With his experience as a Visa Officer, Canadian Consul, and as an independent consultant, he has assisted thousands of people to immigrate and live, work, and study in Canada. His work has required extensive travel throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Mr. Metcalfe’s knowledge of immigration law and procedures has resulted in a clear expertise to analyze issues and resolve complex problems quickly. He will be a great asset to Altec Global Capital Inc. in future.

Alan Ballak

Managing Partner

Mr. Alan John Ford Ballak has over 30 years of international work experience, and more than 20 years of experience in trades.

Alan J.F. Ballak has an academic background in environmental technology and engineering in Ontario, Canada. He majored in resource management and minored in transportation systems. He also has worked as a research scientist in Canada and Malaysia and has several papers to his credit.

Mr. Ballak in particular with his Trade Commissioner and private sector experience brings to Altec Global Capital Inc. his vast contacts and “connexions” in the business community and international business associations.

Lane Si

High-end Project Director

Mr. Si is in charge of High-end customer resource maintenance and business development for Altec Global Capital Inc.With extensive business operation and corporate development experience in North American Market, including real estate development, hotel operations, international education and immigration consulting.

He specializes in cross-border financial investment, wealth planning, and private asset management. And maintain long-term collaboration with banks and other professional investment institutions in Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland and other provinces.

He has provided multinational business consulting services throughout China, Southeast Asia and Russia for more than 20 years, establishing extensive resources with Politicians, Medias and Business investment conglomerate.

Seun Ilori

B. Sc., MBA

Seun Ilori is the founder and managing director of Datageant Ltd. He holds B.Sc in Medical Laboratory Science from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma and MBA degree from University of Lagos, Nigeria. He is currently completing a master’s degree in Technology Innovation Management(M.Eng), Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. He is en-route full membership of IoD (Institute of Director, Nigeria).
Seun manages multinational IT firm across East and West Africa. He has a wealth of experience with Israeli multinationals and three independent startups in Nigeria. In less than a decade, he had grown a management team to the tune of $200m. He has a strong command in English language and Yoruba languages and, he is well traveled to over 27 countries in the world for business concepts and innovations. Seun Ilori is an active member of prestigious and foremost Ikoyi Club, Lagos from 2011 till date. He is unintimidated in business ventures and his quietness is good enough to untie Gordian knots in any business domain.

Dr. Fred Kahn

MD

Dr Kahn founded Meditech International Inc in 1989 and has developed the BioFlex Series of laser therapy systems. To date there are over 1,000 independent clinicians in over 50 countries utilizing Dr Kahn’s systems to restore the health and quality of life for their patients.

Dr Kahn is a graduate of the University of Toronto. He obtained his fellowship in the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and was a member of the American Board of Surgery.

Dr Kahn has written numerous articles on the Bioflex System. He continues to conduct intensive research from the technological perspective and with regard to new clinical applications.

Laura Johnston

Laura Johnston is a senior marketing professional specializing in business writing, project management, and e-commerce services. She began her career with the airlines and has since held several executive positions in the health care, nanotech, and IT industries. As a business consultant she has worked in both the public and private sectors and is certified in E-Commerce Management, pricing strategy, and continuous improvement methodologies. Laura is proficient in strategic planning, business analysis and development, and stakeholder relations. She is active as a mentor in the Business Start-Up Program with Enterprise Toronto.

Aline Ayoub

Human Resource Consultant

Aline Ayoub is a graduate of l’Université De Montréal with a BA in Political Sciences and a Certificate in Public Relations and is the President and founder of Aline Ayoub HR Consulting. She is an avid blogger and author of “The 10 Essentials Steps To Former Executive Immigrants Getting Their Dream Job”. Aline was also featured in the Canadian Immigration Magazine.

Aline helps small businesses reduce their time in hiring the right person. She has helped thousands of business owners by providing them with a set of tools easy to implement and has helped small business owners select the right people, place them in the right roles at the right time, and manage them to their full potential.

Cathy Cheng

Education Consultant

Cathy Cheng has many years of experience in global education exchange programs. She represents Ubridge College from Alberta, Canada on its English summer camp recruitment in mainland China and Taiwan. Additionally, Cathy is dedicated to improving teenagers’ global perspectives, by actively supporting Canada’s “Working Holiday” programs among Taiwanese.

Currently, Cathy is responsible for AGCI’s leadership training programs, including “Teenager Leadership Summer Camp” and “Parent&Kids English Summer Camp”.

Matey Nedkov

Senior Consultant

Matey is a serial entrepreneur with over 30 years of diverse international business experience.
Mr. Nedkov is an active Board Member of – European Union Chamber of Commerce in Canada, he is the Founder of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce in Canada  and has served on the board of the French Chamber of Commerce for 3 years. 

Chunyan Liang

Overseas Marketing Manager

Mrs. Liang is a Certified Economic Consultant, who is professional, objective, and critical. She uses statistics, mathematical analysis, and economic theory to provide advice to people and organizations that encounter issues such issues as unemployment, inflation, industrial productivity, farm policies, and international trade.

She is also a Certified Real Estate Appraiser. She always provides opinions on various aspects such as value for purchase and sale of property, value for lending purposes, value of property to be expropriated by government, litigation, and value for determining property assessment levels and property tax appeals.

Last but not least, Mrs. Liang is a Registered Auctioneer of China. She has been committed to the protection of traditional culture, combined with modern business models, to incubate the creativity of traditional cultural industries, build a supply chain of characteristic industries, select the most representative cultural content in Tibetan areas, and operate with modern business models.
